This year your child will be using the Handwriting for Christian Schools program, which uses a unique style of writing developed by Bob Jones University Press. Handwriting for Christian Schools seeks to lay a foundation of writing skills on which early learning is broadened and reinforced, not replaced. This program is designed to provide continued motivation throughout the elementary grades. Handwriting for Christian Schools introduces the PreCursive alphabet at the kindergarten level and continues to provide meaningful PreCursive writing activities for first grade and the first ten weeks of second grade.
