Assessing the elderly

Physical assessment, pt. 1 - Demonstrates with live male and female models, using a body system approach, a head-to-toe physical examination of an elderly patient, noting major differences between findings in the normal elderly and those of the normal adult. Introduces the exam and follows a patient through the general survey and head and neck examination. The cardiac and respiratory examinations conclude part A.

Part 2 continues the head-to-toe physical examination of Part 1tric assessment beginning with examination of the breast, abdomen, and female genitalia. Reintroduces the male for examination of the neuromuscular systems, and concludes with examination of the genitalia and rectum.
