About This Book

In the May 2020 edition of her colorful perzine, Canadian Francophone IsaBelle Bourret writes about the important new events in her life. She begins by explaining her decision to change the name from "The Happy Loner" to "Electron Libre." Later on, she discusses how quarantine and the pandemic changed her mindset: she is now a proponent of "living in the present," and paying attention to things happening around her. Bourret also includes book and podcast recommendations, simple cooking tips, and a piece about the disproportionate impact of the pandemic on people of color, sex workers, front-line workers, and people with disabilities. Each page contains text and images -- Alekhya
