Praça da República

The book presents an analysis of the architectural complex of the main plaza "Praça da República" in the city of Niteroi (Rio de Janeiro). Historian and academic Andréa Telo da Corte presents a fresh version of the political history of the State of Rio de Janeiro, in addition to the interpretation of the power struggles and city projects represented in the public monuments of the plaza, analyzed in their different contexts.
