Zadoc Long was born July 28, 1800 in Middleboro, Massachusetts, son of Thomas Long and Bathsheba Churchill. He married Julia Temple Davis August 1824. He died February 3, 1873. He and Julia had four children Julia, Persis, Zadoc, Jr.; and John Davis.
Descendants are believed to reside in Massachusetts, Maine, Idaho and elsewhere.
