About This Book

Deepa Panchamia's philosophy is to challenge the conventional perspectives of textiles. Through a repetitive and intricate process of folding, pleating, cutting, layering and stitching, her aim is to discover new ways to manipulate fabric and create engaging architectural formations. This debut book presents a selection of Deepa Panchamia's work from 2004-2017, including notes and extracts from the artist's journal and essays written by Mary Schoeser. Limited to 300 copies, each book is numbered and signed by the artist.
