Plataforma Bogotá

Written by Enrique Rodríguez, this book compiles the creations developed from 2012 to 2015 in Plataforma Bogotá (Interactive laboratory of art, science and technology), a project developed by Fundación Gilberto Alzate Avendaño (FUGA). The texts propose a reflection on the logic of interactive laboratories from transversal states between the chronicle, the interview and the story. Plataforma Bogotá was created to support the production, research, training and dissemination of digital art, science and culture in interdisciplinary environments that bring together audiences of all ages and specialists from all branches of knowledge and the arts, interested in developing projects and prototypes through free software, open source and digital knowledge. It is a space of collective participation for the exercise of the right to creation and experimentation around the use of digital technologies by the general population: it is a space for people, artists or not, scientists, technicians and ordinary people who seek intellectual and material complement for the development of their projects. During the process, experiences, knowledge and ideas intersect in a network of products that affect and nourish each other.
