Main Street America is alive and well in, of all places, New York City. New Yorkers know that their city is no heartless metropolis. Their town is the ultimate small town; made up of a patchwork of neighborhoods, each with its own personality and flavor; a city where people still shop at the corner Mom and Pop store, not just for convenience, but for quality, service, and originality.

In this Season Two DVD set, viewers join host Jamie McDonald as he takes viewers to 30 of these classic establishments to share their unique stories. Included in Season Two are two sisters who helped usher in the punk rock era by creating a cosmetic empire on St. Marks Place (while also singing backup in the iconic band Blondie); a small workshop in Brooklyn that is the only company making copper cookware in America.
