A space-control theory of paramedic scene-management

This doctoral thesis presents the first scientific inquiry into the true nature of paramedic practice. It conceptualizes a theory-of-practice that maintains paramedic work is not strictly medical, but rather medicine imbedded in a social context. Paramedic must manage this context in order to delivery medical care.
