While assisting her father in selling provisions to visitors to the top of Snowdon, Elinor Owen mets the adventuress Lady Sara Raglan and her handsome nephew, Richard. Eli is swiftly drawn into Lady Sara's most recent adventure, becoming a spy for Queen Victoria's government. Now, up against the evil Jacques, Eli and Richard are soon fighting for their lives, while Lady Sara heads for a final showdown and pistols at dawn with Jacques on the summit of Snowdon itself.
