"He was the destroyer and creator of my life". Natsuko was a solitary junior high schooler, her piano her only friend; Tsukishima was in high school and had the air of a delinquent, but was twice as sensitive as most people. Tsukishima said he thought of the two of them as "twins"; his reckless behavior brings Natsuko nothing but trouble. Yet Natsuko was always drawn to him, and ended up doing whatever he asked: applying to the same summer job, joining his band, moving in with his friends...This is the story of a girl who could do nothing by herself, growing up and trying to make her own place in the world.
