About This Book

"The scope of this work is the interdisciplinary dialogue between natural and applied sciences and Chrstian theology. This reasearch work is not about the relationship between science and religion from the perspective of philosophy of religion or religious science, although it is related to it. Our effort is developed from the explicit horizon of Christian revelation. Our intention is to study the epistemological foundations and the conditions that could make possible the articulation between scientific worldviews and theological discourses. ... It is our goal to bring to light and justify this mediation between natural sciences and Christian theology. ... In addition, our purpose is to propose a theological method that articulates such scientific worldviews into Christian systematic theology and respects the different epistemologies (scientific, philosophical and theological)."--Chapter 1, Introduction, pages 1-2.
