About This Book

Section 5 (d)(1) of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, P. L. 90-542 et seq. requires that all Federal agencies consider potential national wild, scenic, and recreational river areas in all water and related land resource development projects. This study documents the analysis of eight rivers (located in Baker, Umatilla, Union and Wallowa Counties, Oregon, and in Adams and Idaho Counties, Idaho), to determine their suitability for inclusion into the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System.
