Papers on Taos archaeology

These two short papers describe the results of some of the earliest archaeological work done under the sponsorship of the Fort Burgwin Research Center. The first paper describes the results of an intensive archaeological-geographical study of the Taos, New Mexico area, with particular emphasis on the Rancho Rio Grande in the vicinity of the Research Center. The second paper records the excavation of a pithouse and associated surface structure on the Rancho Rio Grande.
