About This Book
This present investigation was undertaken to explore the importance of achievement motivation for the successful community adjustment of the retarded person.
More specifically, this study explores the relationships between achievement motivation (measured by scores on the Thematic Apperception Test), success in adapting to the community (as measured by counselors' ratings), and the retarded person's perceptions of the causes of success and failure in achievement situations (as measured by a forced choice test).
