Population terminology

This glossary contains terms which have appeared or may appear in documents dealing with lending and borrowing of the World Bank and IFC. Besides terminology used in the financial markets, this glossary also contains terms relating to the World Bank's current lending program, including the currency pool and the pool-based lending rate, banking, accounting, particulary ratios, as well as a few terms in the fields of economics and financial analysis.
