Folk literature of the British Isles

The purpose of this book is two-fold. It is an attempt to show that study tours can have substance and focus and benefit not only those who participate but others as well. Secondly, it is an attempt to draw attention to an area of ethnic folk literature that those who work with children and young adults in the United States should know much more thoroughly than they do at present. This book is a compilation of essays, articles, research and bibliographies that I feel should be shared with others interested in the subject of folk literature of the British Isles for children and young adults. - Introduction.
