About This Book
Emil Springmann (Feb 11, 1812-December 11 1887) was a nineteenth century cotton merchant in Liverpool, England, originally from Barmen, now Wuppertal, Germany. He lived in a house called Drachenfels in Eaton Rd, West Derby, Liverpool. He is buried in Toxteth Park Cemetery, Liverpool. This publication was presumably written by one of his children or grandchildren and almost certainly celebrates his life. The family changed its name to "Springman" following the first world war.
