233 Aniversario De La Academia De San Carlos. Tiempos De Creacion

"In 2014 the Faculty of Arts and Design (FAD-UNAM) celebrated the 233rd anniversary of the foundation of the Royal Academy of San Carlos, the former educational institution dedicated to the artistic disciplines of engraving, sculpture, painting and architecture. As a tribute to the Academy, that was the first school of art in the Americas, and later one of UNAM spaces full of history, culture and art, a group of artists that stand out today and who have belonged or still belong to the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte (SNCA-FONCA) were selected." The book is a detailed account of this celebration, providing a testimony of the work and production of the artists of the FAD.
