Rosina Falcon had accepted her grandfather's invitation to the reach so that she could find out the truth about her father's mysterious death. Her cousin, Hugh Pevensey, arouses her suspicions and then she meets Neil Lamont, warden of Falcon's Reach seabird sanctuary. Neil's life is in danger, but who is trying to kill him? Torn between her love for Neil and her fear of Hugh's possessiveness, Rosina wonders if she'll ever achieve her heart's desire.
