México and the United States (Huichols, Mexicas and Mesoamericans of the Postclassic, people, Pawnee, Mandan and sites of the ancient civilizations of the Mississippi) with discussions that problematize the forms of symbolization in ritual and artistic expressions, trends that in anthropology are known as "relational" or "poststructuralist". The goal is to formulate a single approach to art and ritual. It also explores the link between the relational complexity of ritual and the production of diversity: everything indicates that the phenomenon of diversity of the Amerindian worlds has to do with the generation of cultural plurality. Difference is a positive value, just as complexity is.
