About This Book

Die Fiedergrille und der Maulwurf. It's easy to live in a warm summer - who thinks of the cold winter? The cricket prefers to fiddle a funny little song on her violin than to build a house and stock up on supplies. And when winter comes, she moves freezing through the snow. Who will take the poor cricket?

Der alte Mann und der Bär. On a particularly cold winter day, an old man trudges through the snow: He carries a sick, weak bird on his shoulder. He had bought it from a bird dealer in order to release the bird in spring. The man and the bird are so cold that they ask the bear if he will take them into his warm den. The bear agrees. But when the bear itself gets into trouble a little later and asks people for help, it is turned away.
