About This Book

The City of Waverly, Iowa, in cooperation with the Iowa Department of Transportation (IowaDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) propose to construct a new roadway corridor. The proposed Cedar River Parkway Project is a new east-west transportation corridor which will stretch approximately 1.8 miles across currently undeveloped rural land on the southeast side of Waverly, Iowa. The major infrastructure elements constructed will include a two- to three-lane roadway, a bridge across the Cedar River, and a parallel recreational trail on one side, as well as connections to local and regional trails in the area.
