Wonderful- Grace has married Peter. They have gone to live in San Francisco. Martin Paxton tried to get Grace to divorce Peter, who refuses. He goes back to San Fransisco and repossesses the boats of Peters family. The tent Karen that is living in with two children and her Aunt burns and Karen's Aunt has died. Jacob has gone missing. The girls move to another part of Alaska-Dawson with the help of Adrik Ivankov who believes that is where Jacob has gone -in search of his father. Martin Paxton tries to get Grace to divorce Peter, who refuses. He goes back to San Fransisco and repossesses the boats of peters family. The Family minus Peter sail to Alaska hoping for a new start. Peters Sister Miranda, falls overboard and Grace reports it and asks to send a telegram to Peters family. Meanwhile a Christian friend of Peter leads him to the Lord. Peter then wants to return to Grace redeem himself. Somehow the Telegram Grace sent is mixed up and the letter sent to Peters home reads Grace is lost at sea. Peter heads back to Alaska only to find that the boat he is on is sinking. On the way to escape he runs in to a man trapped in his room by a fallen beam. He frees him only to find out it's Martin Paxton who knocks him unconscious. This actually is a blessing as it saves Peters life from an explosion coming from the boats Engine.
