Mana culture

Mana, "the supernatural powers one possesses when menstruating," is explained in political (mana vs monoculture and the "sanitary product" industry's "white supremacy") and also in spiritual terms in this zine by Vermont sex educator and herbalist Dana Woodruff. In addition to advice about relieving cramps and safe sex, there is a personal story about pap smears, an Erykah Badu quote, a list of environmentally friendly menstrual alternatives, and a list of books about self-love and community health. The zine is cut and paste and filled with found pictures of female anatomy and clip art.
