Wildlife on Farms

Since 1995, David Lindenmayer and his research team have been involved in a series of large-scale studies on biodiversity conservation in agricultural/grazing landscapes in south-eastern Australia. Their work on a wide range of mammals, birds, reptiles and frogs has involved extensive interactions with a large number of graziers and farmers. Many of these property owners are interested in why particular species are present (or absent), what might be done to keep them (or bring them back), and what they might do on their farms to encourage particular species of animals.
