The historic architecture of Perquimans County, North Carolina

"Perquimans County and the Town of Hertford in cooperation with the North Carolina Division of Archives and History applied for and received in 1978 a Survey and Planning Grant to produce a comprehensive inventory of the architectural and historical resources within the county...Additional funding in the form of a 1979 Survey and Planning Grant was awarded to the county for a one-month extension of the project into a publication phase. The historic architecture of Perquimans County, North Carolina is an outgrowth of this publication grant utilizing and expanding on the information gathered during the countywide inventory" -- p. v.
