Un cómic sobre la vida y aventuras de Juan Sebastián Elcano, quien completó la primera vuelta al mundo un 8 de septiembre de 1522, terminando al frente de pocos hombres y una nave, la Victoria, el viaje iniciado hace ahora exactamente 500 años, es decir, en 1519, capitaneado por el portugués Fernando de Magallanes desde Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Atravesaron el océano Atlántico -por dos veces-, el Pacífico y el Índico.
