Cherry Blossoms in Twilight

Yaeko Sugama Weldon was born in Japan in 1925. She grew up in a small town near Tokyo during the Depression years and as a teenager experienced World War II. After the war, she met a young American serviceman, married him in spite of her family's objections, and moved to the United States.
