A short novel about a short-lived affair between a female central banker of a Latin-American country and her Dutch adviser. The story develops against the background of the Latin-American country debt crisis of the early eighties.
Set in São João, a fictional blend of Rio and S.Paolo; also, a region reminiscent of Bahia.
