This book was published for the first time in 1975 as a thesis on the law of outer space. Since at the time given there were only few general publications available on the matter the author had to cope with a lot of smaller contributions some times not yet published.

The work consists mainly of the applicable and available laws of the time and was pretty much up to date (and in quite a few areas still is). It comprises liability questions as well as reflections on international law such as regards the property on the outer sea.
