About This Book
The basic objectives of this text book is to present advanced statistical methods and numerical data analysis for the students and research scholars in Library and Information Science (LIS) who require to know about the characteristics and the methods of library statistics so that they can proceed with their activities systematically and execute efficiently. This book is also intended for the LIS professionals working in libraries and information centres, who need to understand several statistical methods in order to analysis and interpretation of numerical data as well as drawing valid conclusions and making reasonable decisions. This text book has been written with the idea that this is their exposure to the subject to library statistics.
