The Zouaves perform the Ladies' parts in their plays. Thursday, January 17th, 1861 the performance will commence with Miss Alice Placide Mann delivering a Curtain Lecture to Mr. J.T. Raymond. After which, the French Proverb, in one act, "La Tireliere, ou, Titi le Talocheur" ... La Marseillaise, sung by Zouave Frederick. To be followed by "Un Tigre du Bengale" ... After which an Ambuscade in Inkermann! Military show in one scene! Forty Zouaves in full uniform will appear in this scene ... A bayonet fight ...To conclude, the Zouaves will sing their own song, "Le Rondeau des Zouzou!" by all the company. Mr. Joseph Jefferson will appear on Monday, in a popular character ...
