About This Book

Documents a protest by Brother Réticius, Vice-Provincial of the Christian Brothers, on behalf of several students who had been accused of entering their calligraphic specimens in a contest sponsored by the Dept. of Fine Arts under false documentation. His protest was in turn fueled by a series of five letters sent by H.M. Verreau, a member of the Commission scolaire, to the Courrier de Montréal, in defense of the commission's actions.
