Il libro di Jama Musse Jama

Lina Unali, a professor of American Literature at University of Rome "Tor Vergata", narrates in this account the story of Jama Musse Jama (in Somali Jaamac Muuse Jaamac), a former student of Somali National University who escapes from Somalia and comes to Italy through Somaliland, DJibouti and Ethiopia. The story of the book is based on hand-written notes from Jama's dairy during the journey, and a conversation between the two upon his arrival at Rome in 1992.
