Von Wundersamen Begebenheiten

Produced in Cologne, Germany in about 1490, this beautifully illuminated miniature book is the work of an unknown artist. Each page of text is illustrated by a corresponding full-page color miniature. The text was written by Franz von Retz (1343-1427), a Domincan monk living in Vienna. The manuscript is now in the collection of the National Library of Ireland in Dublin.
