About This Book

Myrthokleia Adela González Gallardo (Mexico City 1945) spent a good part of her life in the offices of "The Director", either because she hit a classmate in elementary school or because she confronted the government in 1968. We affectionately call her Myrtho. She loves skinny cats and always gets into trouble because she hates injustice. She is not a good student, but she likes to give Machine and Tool classes. She speaks the truth, says a lot of foul words and arrives on time even when she is not called. She was the leader of the 1968 Student Movement and is the first Industrial Mechanical Technician to graduate from the Polytechnic. Generous as she is, she invites us to come to her house. We asked her: Who is Myrthokleia? This is what she answered us...
