The Ascent of Mount Elgon

A gripping first person account of the ascent of Mount Elgon, altitude 4321M, a massive extinct volcano in the remote north east of Uganda on the border with Kenya. In an event packed trek the author came close to death but was rescued by a climbing group from Makerere University, Kampala, through an amazing coincidence.
