Amelia's knight

Amelia and her sister Ruth have mixed feelings when their impetuous mother decides they should stay with her, Sarah, in the harbour town of Whitby, for Amelia cannot envisage them finding suitable husbands there. However, once she has set on the gallant, buy mysterious, Samuel Knight, Amelia's opinion changes. But her father, Archibald, an intellegence officer in pursuit of villains and a chest of stolen government gold, views Samuel in a rather different light.
