Prairie Rose

1912. Working as a schoolteacher on the Canadian prairie, Paula Scott is courted by Jake Marriott, the father of one of her pupils. Her friends consider him a good catch, but Paula is secretly in love with Charles Ingram. Charles, however, is engaged to selfish society beauty Lola King. Paula knows she must forget Charles, but would it be fair to wed Jake when he can only be second best in her heart?
