About This Book
There is a need for reliable 10 micrometer standards with which to reference the background measurements being done by various Air Force user groups. A literature search was conducted to compile a list of non-planetary celestial sources which have fluxes greater than 5 times 10 to the ( -17)th power W per (micrometer (cm. squared)) at 10 micrometers. 'Standard' stars are chosen from the list and recommended flux values are assigned to them. (Author).
