Nigeria, millennium development goals 2006 report

This is the third in the series of reports that examine the progress of Nigeria toward the attainment of the millennium development goals (MDGs). The report shows that Nigeria has the potential to achieve some of the goals, especially those related to achieving universal primary education, combating HIV & AIDs, ensuring environmental stability, and developing a global partnership for development, ahead of the target time. However there are serious challenges in the areas of reducing child and maternal mortality.
