Violencia, memoria y rebeliones

Academics from humanities department of Guerrero state university explore contemporary manifestations of violence, historic conditions that generated them, as well as actors, geographies, systems of domination and alternatives for more peaceful future. Three essays deal with disappearance of 43 student teachers from Ayotzinapa. Other essays discuss ongoing policy of forced disappearance in Mexico, repression of journalists, violence against women in Mexican literature, and other topics.
