Tigouya, lo margouya té i vé alé voir la mer

Tigouya is a very curious gecko who has always lived in the mountains of Mafate, in Réunion. He dreams of seeing the ocean. Camouflaged in the backpack of a tourist, the small animal soon finds himself aboard a bus, then on a white sandy beach. Each page serves a double purpose: to show the island, and to introduce sirandanes - riddles proper to the Creole language - to which Tigouya must respond in order to continue his journey.
