Who is Listening to God?That evening the Iraqis opened fire. As tracers flew toward us, the inky darkness obliterated any hope of rapid escape. We dove for cover behind our vehicles.When all was quiet, I was about to climb back into our truck when I heard God say in a clearly articulated thought, “Aim your flashlight ahead of your vehicle.” When I did, the narrow red beam revealed the detonator of a mine sticking out of the sand just two feet in front of our truck.What does it mean to take charge of your destiny?Taking charge of your destiny means listening to God and following His plans for your life—every day.
