About This Book
Foreword - By Rufie Lee
When the decision was made to assume the responsibility for this project, several goals were formulated: (1) To search for the family members of our branch of the Bell family and, as they were found, to request their genealogical records; (2) To compile these records with high standards both professionally and ethically, with no intent for the compilation to be a scholarly genealogical study, since the compiler has no training in genealogy; (3) To have the findings published for those family members who may wish to purchase a copy with no plan to make this a money making project; (4) To present the book as a legacy to honor our immigrant ancestors and their descendants; (5) And to fulfill this part of my destiny through the belief and faith that God has directed and guided this work.
