Celebrates the 40th anniversary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates with selected verses from the pen of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum. Features thirteen new poems alongside previously published material which pulse with a deep-rooted love for his country and his people. The poems explore powerful themes of patriotism, maternal and romantic love, the pain of separation and the desire for justice, and are illustrated by young emerging Emirati artists through especially commissioned paintings.
