Michael's Eyes

This book is about the plight of children in Uganda. Girls have been abducted and forced into marriage or raped. Boys have been kidnapped and forced to become child soldiers. It relates experiences of abduction, rape, escape and rehabilitation and belief in their own capacity to survive. The child's perspective is maintained throughout the narratives that include interviews, short stories, poetry and pictures.
