Maturing in Christ

An investigation of Paul's spiritual theology, an exploration of the dynamics of the new life in Christ. It is thus primarily an effort to understand his message, to read it against the background of the world in which he lived, to underscore the way of thinking proper to the Semite mind, and to show the development of Paul's theology of Christian progress. Takes the pertinent texts in their chronological order, giving a commentary on each and at the same time showing how the main themes which these texts introduce are developed during the course of Paul's writings.
