Duarte nunca fue excomulgado

Brief study aims to prove that, contrary to common belief, Duarte was never excommunicated from the Catholic Church. Juan Pablo Duarte (1813-1876) is one of the Founding Fathers of the Dominican Republic. He is widely considered the architect of the Dominican Republic and its independence from Haitian rule in 1844.
